March 26, 2008 As is the case, I usually get motivated and find the time to work on this about once a year. It takes alot of time and to be honest it is hard to find it sometimes. That being said, there are lots of new things to see around here. I have added a separate metronome page with a couple of links to two great free online metronome sites, and a drum tracks page with many downloadable drum track mp3’s to practice and play along. Both pages will really help students of the guitar and bass enhance their practice routines and help them become better, more solid players. I am proud to offer them on my site.
I have also partnered with several online affiliates sites to allow my site to link to there store. Every purchase made by clicking the link in my site benefits rodchubb.com with a small percentage of each purchase. This coupled with the ability to donate directly from the “Donate” page using PayPal with hopefully generate a little income to help offset the costs of creating this content and offering it for free. If you use and enjoy any of the free content my site has to offer please support this site by either donating directly or purchasing products via our affiliate links.
I have several other ideas of additions to this site but it will take a while to implement them so I will keep my mouth shut until they become reality. I guess that is all I have to say for now so keep checking back often and have a happy spring!
September 16, 2007 I am very excited to announce the release of my new CD “International Incident”. This CD contains many different musical styles ranging from Jazz to good old Rock & Roll, vocal songs to instrumentals.
All of this music was recorded in my home studio of the course of the past 14 months and includes players from all over the world. All tracks were recorded and files past back and forth via the internet for each player to record his/her parts. While I have met many amazing players, much of the music was finished between myself and my good friend Johan Hjord from Tel Aviv, Israel. Johan is a fantastic drummer as well as a very creative lyricist. He is also just a great guy who I enjoy working with very much.
Putting these CD’s together is alot of fun but also extremely time consuming and a ton of work. I hope you enjoy listening to our efforts.
